Flats Elk & Alpaca Farm would like to invite you to visit our farm
and see the delightful alpaca for yourself. We have enjoyed being alpaca
breeders for a little over four years now. They are the most wonderful
animals. We are like most farms and will help the new (or not so new)
alpaca breeders with any of their questions or concerns. For those of you
that are looking for alpacas, we do offer boarding services and a variety
of alpacas for sale.
Rocky Flats Elk & Alpaca Farm is centrally located in Wisconsin in the little town of Tigerton. We are approximately an
hour west of Green Bay and 40 minutes east of Wausau. We both have a love for
animals, Jackie having grown up on a farm and Jim having been to Africa on safari several times, so
we started looking for what animals we wanted to raise. We researched elk
for about four years; we then had the chance to purchase thirty of them
in 1999. After about a year, Jackie wanted something smaller. When we saw
an ad in a newspaper for alpaca, we decided that was it. We now have a
small herd of them, and have never looked back.
We can be easily reached from either Hwy 29 or Hwy 45. If you are
interested in a farm tour, or are interested in either elk or alpaca,
just call or email us, and we would be more than happy to accommodate
your visit and give you more specific directions on how to get to our
farm.
